Hi! I’m Johnny, and I offer boutique-style staycations where your pup gets to enjoy luxury, calm, and personalized care in a home that feels like their own little retreat. I’m all about creating a calm, structured environment where dogs actually feel safe and can relax from the moment they walk in. My home is set up with their comfort in mind—peaceful spaces to chill, cozy spots for naps, a fully fenced patio for outdoor time, and I keep everything clean and tidy throughout their stay. I’ve been working with dogs for over 15 years, including time as a vet assistant, so I’m comfortable with medication, special needs, and senior pups. I recently left my corporate job to do this full time, which means your dog gets my full attention all day long. Whether your pup is shy, super energetic, or somewhere in between, I meet them where they are. I build my day around what your dog needs—not the other way around. That means gentle introductions, consistent routines, calm group play, and lots of love and fun activities.

I left my dog with them for about two weeks, and it was really comforting to get daily updates. My dog didn’t eat as much at first in the new environment, but they took such thoughtful care and kept me informed, even suggesting new ways to help. I’m so grateful for their attentiveness and would definitely love to keep boarding my dog with Johnny in the future.

Johnny was fantastic with our pup, even with all of her behavioral quirks. We felt comfortable that she was safe and well cared for while we were away, and loved the regular updates on how she was doing!

We had a great experience at Johnny’s Ruh - Ruh’s retreat .Johnny was so kind and caring to our senior dog Minnie . It was her first time to be left and cared for by a professional staff . We were skeptical at first but we needed to go on for a week’s vacation. By the way Johnny was recommended to me by my friend Jennifer . She had her Ollie cared by Johnny. Johnny did not disappoint us. At first there is a schedule for meet and great. We also get to see his clean place . After that he would assess your dog ; He would ask about his/ her schedule , habits , medications schedule (if any) . Then from there he will discuss his plan of care. I really like that Johnny gives daily updates (he have a great App ) and would even send pictures and short videos too . This makes us not worry about our dog. We really appreciate the warm and caring treatment that Johnny provided to our senior dog . We highly recommend Johnny’s Ruh- Ruh Retreat. He will not disappoint you.

Johnny has been an amazing sitter for our dog, Brandy. Every time Brandy stays with him, it truly feels like a second home. Our dog always has such a fantastic time there. Johnny consistently goes above and beyond. He keeps us updated with messages and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind. He’s also incredibly flexible, there was one time we had an urgent situation, and he stepped in right away to pick up Brandy, which meant a lot to us. We highly recommend Johnny. Your fur baby will be in a safe, loving, and caring place!
